Bio

Mike Hill was born in Westfir, Oregon, but stayed there for only two months. His father was an Army veteran, and the family moved to Southern California following his discharge. Mike’s father became a professional salesman and traveled to a variety of states and sold everything from Sewing Machines to White King Soap. By the time Mike had completed high school, he had attended 16 different schools. Mike believes the various moves in his childhood benefited him in that he learned to establish rapport in the making of new friends at the various different schools his parents moved him to.

Mike attended the University of Arizona for a few years before deciding to join the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He worked on Top Secret Avionics for four years, and was given an Honorable Discharge. Because of his valuable knowledge and experience, Mike took a page from his Father’s Book and went into sales, but cashed in on his Air Force experience by selling Hi-Tech equipment to petro-chemical and nuclear equipment companies. In 1983 he took a job offer and became licensed to work for a Real Estate Development company in Dallas, Texas. He then moved to Austin in 1991 to become a part of the quickly growing residential real estate market and that’s when he joined the Premiere Team.

Mike has become an exceptional estate professional with an engaging and easy going manner. His soft spoken style is coupled with a keen intellect that draws on his extensive experience working with high tech individuals in business start-ups, sales and project management.

Mike is now the Team Leader of Premiere Team Real Estate and has held that position since 2008. He has been recognized by the Team for various awards including:

Wife and I had the unique opportunity (for us) to buy a new home before selling our present one. We found the perfect location and house for “empty nesters” 3 hours north, bought it and moved in while knowing we couldn’t financially sustain 2 homes for very long. So we needed a realtor who could sell the home we just moved from quickly without pricing it under market value. And because the new home was a long drive away, our realtor would also need to be willing and able to watch over the property we were selling and supervise the contractors we hired to put the house and yard in tip-top shape. We allowed 3 weeks for the painters, lawn and landscape service, and house cleaning service we chose from Premier Team’s list to get the home “move-in ready”.
