About Kari Darnell

Kari Darnel has lived in Austin and the surrounding areas for more than 20 years!  After retiring from the United States Army, her father went to work in the real estate industry, so she has been around the real estate business for almost her entire life.  Kari received her license to practice real estate in 2001.  She did so, initially, to purchase and manage her own investment property. Because of that experience, she understands and relates to not only buyers and sellers but to investors, as well!

Kari worked as a Human Resources Director before transitioning into the customer service side of this business, full time.  She graduated Summa Cum Laude from St. Edward’s University with a Business degree, and that has given her the sound foundation on which she is building her career on.

Receiving excellent customer service is something we can all agree is the ideal outcome in any purchase a consumer chooses to make.  In an effort to provide that level of service, she endeavors to identify your wants, needs and desire in the property you wish to purchase.  She then matches them to available properties from an inventory of thousands of homes; knowing, that if she finds the homes that match your objectives – the right property will sell itself.

Kari’s goal is to guide both buyers and sellers through the buying and/or selling process efficiently and effectively.  She uses the most current market data to negotiate the best possible price.  In multiple offer situations, she offers a variety of options to insure you have the best possible odds of winning in a very competitive Seller’s Market.

When you are looking to sell your home, Kari will set a strategic asking price based on comparable properties and a comprehensive market analysis of your home’s size, location and condition. She will also review the terms of all offers in order to create the most favorable outcome for your particular situation.

Kari recently obtained her GREEN certification from the Green Resource of Real Estate Buyer Agents Council (REBAC)  because she appreciates and values the efficient use of resources and understand the importance energy efficiency means to cost conscious consumers.
