AUSTIN, Texas Real Estate Market Update – According to the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) report released by the Austin Board of REALTORS® (ABoR), Austin-area single-family home sales and prices hit an all-time high for the month of September 2015. The report also revealed that home sales in the Austin and surrounding areas increased by 7% and the median price increased 8% year-over-year, reaching $258,000. The average price for Austin-area single-family homes also increased 5% to $324,150 and homes remained on the market for an average of only 47 days.
